Saturday, October 11 from 9 am to 1 pm

Archaeology Southwest, Tucson, Arizona and simulcast on ZOOM

www.archaeologysouthwest.org, 281 N. Stone Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85701

   This year’s conference theme is "Updates from Southern Arizona and Sonora" with a focus on recent projects in southern Arizona           and northern Mexico. If you are interested, there are three talk options available:

  • a 5-minute digital poster lightning talk;
  • a 10-minute project update; or
  • a 15-minute research talk.

   If you are interested in presenting, email the following information to aacpresident@azarchaeology.org by September 5, 2025:

  • Author(s) with affiliation.
  • The talk option you are interested in.
  • Title of your talk.
  • Two keywords that describe your talk.
  • An abstract of no more than 100 words.

   AAC strives to ensure that all presentations are developed and presented in an appropriate and respectful way. Presentations with         drawings, photographs, or other visual depictions of human remains or funerary objects will not be allowed.

   AAC will host additional events for students and recent graduates on Saturday, October 11. The Saturday events are developed to           provide students with mentoring, training, and skills that would be useful resume builders for cultural resource management jobs.         Spaces for Saturday's events are limited. Contact aacpresident@azarchaeology.org for details and availability.

In-person attendance has been sold out. Only tickets to view the virtual live-stream are still available.
