- Position will require extensive physical exertion, such as standing and walking up to 10 hours a day on uneven terrain in outdoor heat /cold stress conditions and weather elements such as wind or rain.
- Ability to carry up to 30 lbs. of equipment; ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Individual must be able to conduct these tasks while wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment. This work will be performed in an urban environment around heavy machinery.
- M.A./B.A degree in Anthropology or a closely related field.
- Phoenix basin and Hohokam monitoring and excavation experience is desired. Applicants should have a knowledge of Hohokam archaeology.
