Tierra ROW Services - GIS Technician

Tierra is currently seeking a full-time motivated GIS Technician for our Tucson, Arizona corporate office. The GIS Technician provides internal mapping and GIS services, map and graphics production, and technical support and training for right of way, title research, environmental planning, and cultural resources projects. The GIS technician conducts mapping and assists specialized fieldwork projects as the mapping and data specialist. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree an applicable field of study (Anthropology, Archaeology, Geosciences, Heritage Management, Environmental Sciences, GIS, Cartography, Land Development, Engineering, or other) with complementary emphasis or training in GIS, cartography, or land surveying; OR
  • Specialized technical degree focused on the GIS, cartography, land surveying, and/or civil engineering trades with sufficient experience to demonstrate required competencies AND;
  • Two years of full-time professional employment in GIS, mapping, or cartography AND;
  • A valid driver’s license.
