TEMPORARY ARCHAEOLOGICAL FIELD TECHNICIANS
:Arizona & New Mexico

Tierra Right of Way Services, Ltd. (Tierra), is hiring a significant number of archaeological field technicians to assist in scheduled archaeological surveys beginning immediately and running through the summer. These surveys are located throughout Arizona and New Mexico. Field technicians are also needed for archaeological monitoring projects in Tucson and Phoenix. Pay will be commensurate with applicant’s experience and education. All field technicians will work under the supervision of a field director.


Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, or related field
• Survey and monitoring experience in cultural resource management (CRM) in the Southwest
• Ability to cooperate and function as part of a team
• Resourcefulness, motivation, and an organized approach to fieldwork
• Ability to use a GPS unit in the field
• Skills at artifact analysis is an advantage, but not required
