The Arizona State Museum (ASM) invites you to a first in a series of SB 1418 Public Forums related to its new proposed rate and fee structure for mandated cultural resource management services: Tuesday, 13 June, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Sonoran Room at the Hilton El Conquistador, in Oro Valley. The Forum is being held in conjunction with the 2017 Arizona Historic Preservation Conference, but conference registration is not required to attend and no RSVP is required.
The purpose of the SB 1418 Forum is to listen to cultural resource management (CRM) stakeholders and improve articulation between the proposed rate and fee structure and CRM business practices.
While the forum is designed to be a moderated, focused discussion, if you are interested in a broader overview of SB 1418 and changes to ASM's cultural resource management service rates and fees, ASM's Director, Dr. Patrick Lyons, will be speaking on this subject in a conference session on Thursday, 15 June, from 9:50 am to 10:40 am. Attendance at this session requires conference registration.
