March is Archaeology and Heritage Awareness Month in Arizona. Each year, the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) collaborates with other organizations and groups to produce a FREE brochure listing the archaeological activities that are scheduled throughout the state in March 2017. SHPO then distributes this brochure across Arizona to inform the public about the many opportunities available to learn about our past. If you are planning an event and want to be included in the brochure -  please fill out the Listing of Events Form that can be downloaded from our website -www.azstateparks.com/archy or can be obtained by contacting Kris Dobschuetz at kd2@azstateparks.gov or 602-542-7141. The Brochure comes out in January, so we will need to have the information by November 18, 2016.
