On December 10th, the AAC sent a letter in support of the current archaeology programs at Pima Community College:

Dear Chancellor Lambert,

Attached, please find a letter from the Arizona Archaeological Council expressing its support for the Centre for Archaeological Field Training and Field Archaeology Certificate Program at Pima Community College. We understand that the College is considering termination of the program, and we feel its loss will be a decisive blow to the growing and understaffed private sector archaeological consulting industry in Arizona.
