At SRI, CCs are responsible for assisting project directors (PDs) and principal investigators (PIs) in implementing survey, testing, monitoring, and data recovery plans and for coordinating through the appropriate channels all field and analytical tasks associated with fieldwork, analysis, and report preparation.  CCs are responsible for supervising field staff; descriptive report writing; and for ensuring, along with other project management staff (e.g., PDs and PIs), that all tasks associated with project implementation are accomplished professionally and in a timely and fiscally responsible manner. The ideal candidate will possess superior writing, communication, and organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. We are seeking an individual with the experience to assist in completing a variety of small- to mid-sized projects independently and who can be identified as a candidate for promotion to assistant project director/project-director status in the short-term future. A Master’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field is required.

SRI offers a compensation package that includes competitive pay; medical coverage; retirement plan; and paid vacation, sick, and holiday leave. Other benefits include working as a part of one of the largest groups of cultural resources professionals in North America and the opportunity to contribute to SRI's innovative research program.
