In collaboration with the City of Phoenix and Pueblo Grande Museum, the Arizona Archaeological Council (AAC) is presenting a Canal Symposium for the Fall 2021 Conference. The conference topic discusses ancient or traditional historic irrigation in the of the Arizona desert, and includes work in the Salt and Gila River valleys as well as the Tucson and Safford Areas.
